Smoke Detectors
All smoke detectors are hard wired with battery backups. The batteries must be changed by residents every six months.
Sprinklers
The sprinklers in each apartment will only be activated by heat -- they will not be activated by smoke. If you have any difficulties with your sprinkler, please call Coldwell Banker Commercial Funkhouser Realtors at 540-434-5150. Please be sure not to hang anything from the head of any of your sprinklers.
Fire Alarm
In the event of a fire alarm, please immediately exit the building and do not re-enter the building for any reason until the building has been declared safe by fire fighting personnel. When exiting the building, leave through the stairwell at the end of your corridor -- do not pass through the fire doors. When you leave your apartment, be sure to close your apartment door securely.
Power Failure
Back up lighting powered by a generator will stay on in the event of a power failure. |
